Parenting Advice

Parenting advice. I have two of my own children; both girls, ages 1 and 3. They are very well behaved.

I attribute this to the effort that my husband and I have made in parenting.

I am not saying that we are perfect parents or that we have perfect children. But we do make a conscience effort to improve our skills.

Raising a child is very challenging. And it starts at birth.

Parenting isn't just about discipline. It's about giving your child the skills required to be happy and successful in their own life.

There is no handbook on perfect parenting; simply because there are no perfect parents.

The key is to learn from others and find something that works for you!

What kind of parent are you? There are three basic parenting styles:

  1. Baby Parenting Tips: This is where your child will learn if they can get away with tantrums. You must read this!(A child is considered a baby until he or she is two years old.)
  2. Parenting Tips for Toddlers: Top 3 parenting tips for toddlers. Learn how to build self-esteem in your child. (A toddler is generally a child between the age of 2-4 years old.)
  3. Shy Child What can you do when you have a shy child? Many children do grow out of their shyness... but how do you know if your child will?
  4. Parent Child Relationship: The relationship that you build with your child between baby and toddler years is very important. It will determine how they interact with you and other people in their lifetime.
