Organized Moms
Organized moms. Use the 5 essential tips to get organized.
The only way to learn is to DO.
This is a form of art that I am learning!
I'm going to organize my bathroom closet with you!
Here is my BEFORE picture.

I followed these 5 tips below to get it done. See how I did and then get busy yourself! If I can do it; YOU CAN TOO.
Organized Moms Tip #1: Being organized saves you time.
Are you the mom who always misplaces her keys? Or maybe it's your sunglasses?
How much time do you spend looking for things that you have "misplaced"?
Wouldn't it be nice to have all that time back!! Being organized really does saves you time; and the stress of trying to find your keys.
Organized Moms Tip #2: Do one area at a time.
It's very important to focus on one area! I can't stress this enough.
You might find yourself drifting elsewhere; resist it the best you can.
If you bounce from room to room your productivity goes down the toilet.
While doing my closet I found several items that needed to go somewhere else. After putting them away, I found myself distracted with cleaning that room!!
I had to regroup and get back to business.
Keep yourself focused. You don't want 5 different organizing projects going at the same time.
You'll be overwhelmed and not know where to go!
Do one area at a time.
Organized Moms Tip #3: Sort
Sort into three basic areas:
Be honest with yourself and if its trash... throw it away. Keep only the items that you need and use regularly.
The worst thing you can do is to be a pack rat! It will take control of your life. And it will drive your family crazy.
I'm not saying to get rid of certain items that hold sentimental value. But if you have an entire room of "sentimental value"; then its time to purge and throw things away!
This is my closet EMPTY!

Organized Moms Tip #4: Find a system you like
To buy or not to buy?
It's really just a matter of personal preference. I didn't buy anything to reorganize my closet. I just used items that I had around the house.
You may need to buy some type of organizing products if you don't have items on hand. Remember that it doesn't have to be expensive.
You can organize for free! Just be creative.
Organized Moms Tip #5: Organize in you new system!
This is the fun part!
You've gotten rid of the things that are no longer useful to you. Now you can organize your
space so that everything is at your fingertips.
Group like items together.
All my bathroom cleaning supplies were put in one tote, my miscellaneous cleaners in another, and my shampoo's and lotions in the last.
This way I don't have to rummage through all those bottles to figure out where my tub cleaner is.
Use common sense and you'll be on the right track. Don't worry if you need to re-arrange after you get organized the first time. You will find what works best for you.

Keep going!
Don't just do one area and say, "Okay I'm tired, that'll do".
You need to keep going!
Pick another area and go to!!!
(My next area is my medicine cabinet.)
